Natural sodium bicarbonate helps neutralise harmful plaque acids.

It also stimulates salivation to promote self-cleansing and reduce the formation of tartar.

Salt Toothpaste was originally developed in consultation with doctors and dentists. The result is a valuable dental preparation made from only natural substances.

Its effective cleansing action is immediately obvious, as is its long lasting freshness. It also has a very beneficial action on both teeth and gums. Due to the osmotic action of the concentrated salt solutions the saliva flow is increased, assisting in the washing away of decay-producing residues. The increased saliva flow produces a self-cleansing action which hinders the formation of tartar, the forerunner of plaque and the subsequent susceptibility to caries. Weleda Skin Food

A rich cream to deep nourish, protect and repair skin.

A deep-penetrating replenishing skin repair cream for dry patches of skin and for added winter protection. Contains extracts of soothing chamomile, calendula wild pansy and a blend of enriching oils and waxes to provide a fine protective barrier against the ravages of wind and weather.

Even before the addition of the plant extracts and essential oils the base itself is food for dry skin. Lanolin, Almond oil and Peanut oil are three of the main ingredients of the base. Lanolin, chemically, is almost identical to sebum, the natural oil produced by the skin. It is therefore an ideal substance to ‘feed’ to dry skin. Both Almond and Peanut oil soften and soothe the skin and also assist in the penetration of other soothing, rejuvenating ingredients.

Formulated with extracts of Sedum purpureum, Equisetum and Myrrh to support the natural repair phase of the skin. Weleda Calendula Nappy Change Cream

A deep-nourishing and protective barrier cream to help prevent redness and reduce soreness.

A baby’s skin is delicate, and this is particularly true around the nappy area. Nappies get wet and it is therefore not suprising that the skin around the nappy area may get sore. However it is not only wet nappies that may be the cause of this, as during the first two years of a baby’s life its intestinal organism may be disturbed - this can be due to colds, teething etc. - but this will also have an effect around the nappy area. A baby’s bottom can therefore become a truly “sore point”.

Although cleansing a baby’s bottom is something so simple and an every-day occurrence, it needs to be carried out with great care. Regular nappy changing and gentle cleansing with Calendula Oil, or if necessary with luke-warm water and Calendula Soap and finally ending up with applying Calendula Nappy Change Cream, helps towards keeping a baby’s bottom clean and smooth.

As in all Weleda products, great care was taken in the selection of the ingredients of this product, which contribute to the unique quality of Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream. Lanolin is of animal origin, obtained from the wool of a sheep through careful washing of the fleeces. Because the sebaceous content of lanolin is virtually the same in the human skin, it is extremely skin-friendly and has the highest water absorbing properties amongst all the natural fats, without influencing the skin’s natural breathing. Beeswax has the same protective properties as lanolin. The skin protective properties of Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream are rounded off with Zinc Oxide, which also has water-absorbing properties.

Directions for use: Provides reliable protection for the nappy area. For daily care apply after cleaning the skin with Calendula Oil or Calendula Lotion. Apply liberally, especially in the folds of the skin. This cream can still be applied to open / sore areas. To promote healing let the baby have an hour or so without a nappy - air helps healing.
