Weleda After Sun Lotion is a refreshing After Sun Lotion which gently cools and regenerates the skin. Aloe vera gel, a desert plant with a unique moisture store, moisturises and soothes the skin. A precious extract of pure Olive Oil replenishes the skin, helping to reduce the visible signs of premature ageing caused by exposure to the sun and damaging UV rays. The moisturising lotion contains plant oils to leave the skin feeling supple. Pure Sesame Oil together with gentle Shea Butter nourishes the skin.

Directions for use: After exposure to the sun, apply liberally to the skin and allow the lotion to be absorbed. Refreshing, replenishing After Sun Lotion is easily applied and readily absorbed without leaving an oily film.

The Weleda Aftershave Balm: The Weleda shaving range is free from synthetic additives including fragrance, artificial colour or preservatives, and made without raw materials derived from mineral oils. They are not tested on animals. Suitable for Vegans.

Shaving is a process whereby the facial hair has grown on the upper layer of the skin (the epidermis) is removed. It does not matter whether a cut-throat razor, razor blades or an electric shaver is used, one thing is clear: shaving irritates the skin, similar to a light abrasion. Therefore the quality of the shave and how the skin feels afterwards depends largely on the quality of product used.

A gentle alternative to the predominantly toning After Shave Lotion. Its mild composition cares for and soothes sensitive skin after a dry or wet shave. Natural oils and waxes help to sustain the skin’s natural oils.

The golden-coloured oil which is pressed from the seeds of the jojoba plant, cares for and smoothes the skin; it helps to protect the skin from drying effects, leaving it pleasantly soft and supple. Jojoba is an evergreen desert plant that knows how to use water in a special way. Its roots go up to 10 metres down into the earth and in this way it makes sure that it always gets sufficient moisture to survive. It can therefore grow in areas where other plants could not possibly survive.

A further ingredient of significance is the gel obtained from Aloe Vera, which stores its moisture in a form of a watery, gel-like mass in its lance shaped leaves. It is thanks to this storage system that the plant has such vitality and can survive long periods of dryness. The gel which Weleda in Brazil produces from the Aloe Vera plant helps support the natural moisture regulation of the skin; it also has a pleasant cooling effect, alleviating any skin irritation.

Plant extracts from Chamomile and Myrrh with their soothing and astringent properties help to prevent skin irritation and tendencies to inflammation. Together with other high-quality natural ingredients, which support the caring character of this preparation, the Weleda After Shave Balm is easily applied to the skin and is quickly absorbed. A gentle cleanser and moisturiser for babies and delicate skin

Weleda Calendula Baby Lotion: In the formulation of this product, the mother tincture (expressed from freshly harvested Calendula flowers) is combined with two precious oils; almond oil, which is well-liked in baby care for its gentleness, and jojoba oil with its excellent caring properties. The latter is pressed from the seeds of an evergreen desert plant and its unique chemical structure makes it into a much desired basic substance for use on toiletries: a delicate film, which is hardly noticeable, protects the skin from the environment's drying effects, leaving the skin soft and supple. This product has been formulated without Lanolin therefore it is ideally suited for the care of delicate Lanolin-allergic skin. Suitable for Vegetarians.

The combination of these high quality ingredients produces a lotion, on the one hand, ideal for use as an overall body care product for children of all ages. On the other hand, the soothing properties of Calendula are particularly important in caring for babies skin. Weleda Calendula Baby Oil: Cleanses, cares and protects the baby's skin from the day it is born. The smoothing properties of the finest quality sesame oil assists in the protection of the baby's skin. It is ideal for the daily care of the delicate skin of babies and children and has a soothing, warming effect on the skin. The oil is particularly suitable for cleansing the nappy area and as an all over body moisturiser after bathing. An excellent medium for baby massage.

The ingredients have been carefully selected from a limited range of high quality natural substances which make the product extremely mild and easily tolerated by the skin. The in-pack leaflet states this product will only keep for a limited period once opened. Used regularly and stored correctly Calendula, like all Weleda products, will keep at least to the expiry date. A bottle only a quarter full, and therefore containing a lot of air, may deteriorate it left unused for a length of time. This is shown by a rancid smell emerging from the bottle. A tip to help extend the life of any oil based product is to wipe the outside of the top of the bottle after use.

Weleda Chestnut Toning Bath Soak: Bath Milks are simply essential oils dispersed and suspended in a water base with soft soap, to make an emulsion. Hence the title 'milk', milk being Nature's perfect emulsion. If an essential oil is added directly to the bath it remains in droplets which merely stay on the surface of the water, most of which drift to the sides of the bath.

The essential oils in Weleda Bath Milks works in two distinct ways: firstly the aroma works on the senses and secondly, the water-dispersed droplets are able to permeate directly into the skin.

Chestnut Bath Soak, also formulated for easy dispersion, is a plant extract emulsion. Like the Bath Milks the soak works on body, soul and spirit, the herbal ingredients relax and ease. Suitable for Vegans.

Horse Chestnut (Aesculus Hippocastanum) is becoming much prized in body care products for its toning, enlivening properties. It loosens taut muscles, improves circulation and eases tired limbs. It supports natural recuperation from tiredness and fatigue.

To use: shake the bottle before use. Pour 2-3 capfuls into the running water to disperse. A water temperature of 37C/98F is recommended. Do not bathe longer than 20 minutes. After bathing, dry the body and gently, cover with a soft towel and ideally relax for at least half an hour in warm surroundings. Use 1 capful to a foot-bath or basin, agitate water with hand to mix the soak.

Weleda deodorants are simple yet thoroughly effective formulations with odour eating essential oils incorporated into a cooling base. They inhibit the development of unpleasant body odour without interfering with the skin’s natural functioning. This is an effective deodorant not anti-perspirant. (Anti-perspirants work by inhibiting perspiration, usually by blocking the pores with aluminium salts). It is not possible to have a natural anti-perspirant. Free from parabens, phthalates and propellants. Suitable for Vegans.

Fresh fragranced Citrus Deodorant, with natural essential oils, provides an immediate feeling of freshness and well-being. Natural essential oils of Lemon and Orange prevent and neutralise unpleasant body odours caused by bacterial action. Dermatologically tested for efficacy and skin tolerance.

To use: apply after showering or bathing as often as necessary. For most people one application lasts all day. You can repeat application throughout the day, as often as required.
