At NVEY ECO we take a strict approach to the sourcing and use of ingredients in our products, and apply a thorough certified organic production criteria to all stages in our research, development and the manufacturing of our finished product. NVEY ECO cares about the health of our clients and the environment, and we use only regulated and safe ingredients appropriate for colour cosmetics.
Paraben Free
No Parabens are used in the manufacture of any NVEY ECO product.
Preservatives
The majority of NVEY ECO's products are preservative free. In our aqueous products, we use where permitted under our organic certifying regulations, a safe biodegradable preservative.
Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) Free
No SLS or derivatives of SLS chemicals are used in any of our products.
No Propylene Glycol
No Propylene Glycol is used in our products.
GM Free
No ingredients are derived from genetically modified crops.
Not Tested On Animals
We simply don't test on animals. only our obliging staff, and occasionally the CEO!
No Petroleum Based Ingredients
No mineral or petroleum oils are used in our product. NVEY ECO uses plant Derived oils such as safflower oil.
No Talc
All our powder based products are Talc Free.
Certified Organic v Natural
We believe if you are going to make a product organic… you go all the way and make it certified organic. NVEY ECO Make-up is OFC Certified Organic [Organic Food Chain Certificate Number #0464] and Australian Government Certified. Unlike natural labelled or uncertified products, we have to meet a strict organic certifying standard in all ingredients and processes we use, which prohibits us from using some ingredients found in natural products such as talc or unregulated or unsafe ingredients and/ or production methods non certified brands may employ. We are also independently audited for quality by OFC.
The Nvey ECO Founder
It’s fair to say that the CEO Rohan Widdison knows a thing or two about make up. His mother founded the acclaimed Melbourne beauty college, Helene Abicair in 1958 and from a young age Rohan quickly grew to understand and appreciate the importance of the beauty industry.
While studying law, arts and education in Australia and Europe, Rohan became actively involved at the Helen Abicair College as creative director, and has headed the company for the past 21 years.
Rohan believes that make-up is more than colour. It is a philosophy of harmony through the interaction of nature and creativity to deliver organic cosmetics that nourish, protect, condition and energise your skin, while delivering exciting colour for a natural everyday radiance.
