Made with fibre from the Sago palm tree, this unique washing-up brush is tough enough to replace plastic alternatives and is ideal for scrubbing pots, pans and cutlery. It is double-ended and for really tough scrubbing use the top of the brush. After use, rinse and hang from its string loop to air-dry. An effective sponge for mopping up spills and cleaning kitchen surfaces. Each sponge is beautifully hand-made by seamstresses in the Philippines. A cotton outer with colourful top panel taken from a recycled flour sack, is filled with absorbent pith from the outer husk of the coconut . Each top panel is unique. Pith can absorb up to 9 times its weight in water and contains compounds which resist bacterial and fungal growth. After use, rinse and gently squeeze out excess moisture then hang up to dry.

Michaels Originals Heavy Duty Scourer
Michael's Heavy-Duty Scouring Pad is made from layers of luffa hand stitched together to give more scrubbing power. It is deliberately less flexible than the washing-up luffa as it is designed to clean large areas in baths, sinks and to reach into grimy corners and tackle tougher jobs. The edges are perfect for cleaning grouting. After use hang it up to dry by its hand-made string loop. It will last up to 12 months and can then be composted.
