NO ARTIFICIAL FRAGRANCES Savonnerie strictly uses Essential Oils and natural extracts in scenting. This means you will never find the words like ‘fragrance’ or ‘nature identical’ in Savonnerie's list of ingredients.
NO CHEMICAL COLOURS Only natural food grade ingredients are used for colouring and texturing.
NO SYNTHETIC PRESERVATIVES It is difficult to make a commercially viable product without synthetic preservative. Many companies marketing their products as natural use at least 1% synthetic preservative. Savonnerie offers handmade products with 0% synthetic.
Savonnerie is opposed to the use of animal testing in cosmetic products. Savonnerie toiletries are tested by those who use them: people. (With exception of Sotherby the Lilac Devon Rex Cat who regularly baths with Savonnerie ‘Natural’ soap).
